A business leader with national and international experience,
Jim is noted for his marketing creativity. He has been recognized by Advertising
Age as one of its Top 100 Marketers, received the Marketer of the Year
award from the Delaney Report, and was honored with Levi Strauss and Co.'s
top award for product innovation. He led teams that turned around both
international and domestic businesses from start-up to over $800 million
in revenue. Jim managed a major business division that developed several
marketing campaigns that were not only award winners, but also successful
in increasing profit and revenue
a rare combination.
Jim held the
top Corporate Marketing position for the world's leading apparel company,
and one of the most well known brands in the world.
Most recently,
Jim was CEO of a technology company in Silicon Valley and he still leads
a consulting group that provides strategic management services to top
management.
Jim grew up in a modest home in North Tonawanda, NY and has lived and
worked in Canada, Australia and Europe as well as nine different cities
in the United States, including Washington D.C. which is the setting of
Guardian Angel. Jim lives in Tiburon, CA and has two children.
